Re-chartering

Unit re-charting is underway! Visit the online re-chartering system to begin the charter renewal process if you haven't done so already.

Community Service

Service projects are an integral part of the Scouting program. Need ideas or tips on how to plan a service project? Visit the Scouting.org website "Unit Tips for Success" page for project ideas, step-by-step guidance for planning the project, tips on how to get recognition and instructions on reporting service hours. Also, watch "Conducting Community Service Projects" (produced by the BSA) on YouTube for additional information.

Journey To Excellence (JTE)

Has your unit recently participated in a community service project or activity? Record service hours with the council to count toward your unit's JTE efforts. Going beyond service projects and helping others daily is putting Scout Spirit into action.  Read "Ideas for Everyday Kindness and Good Turns" to learn about things to you can do to do your good turn daily.

BSA's Journey to Excellence is the performance recognition program designed to encourage, reward success and measure the performance of our units, districts, and councils to provide a quality program at all levels of the BSA.
