Uniform Resources

One of Scouting's methods of youth developments is the uniform. Wearing the uniform is an action that shows each Scout's commitment to the aims and purposes of Scouting. The uniform also provides a way for Scouts to display the awards they have earned by competing requirements found in their Scout handbook.

  • Uniform Assistance Application
Recognizing the essential role of the uniform and handbook in Scouting, Crossroads of America Council offers the uniform assistance program to Scouts who would not otherwise be able to purchase a uniform or handbook. Funding for this program is made possible by the annual Friends of Scouting campaign and popcorn sale.

Unit Depository Accounts

The council has established a unit depository account (UDA) for all chartered units. Units can access their UDA at any one of the four council service centers (but not at council camps), after a Scout Shop Manager has received the unit depository account authorization form from the unit committee chair.  Only those individuals designated on the form can spend the balances in these accounts.
