33rd Annual Scouting Awards Dinner- June 13, 2017
The Annual Scouting Awards Dinner is designed to recognize outstanding citizens and community leaders, gain positive exposure for Scouting programs in 26 central Indiana counties and to raise operating funds for growing programs.
The 33rd Annual Scouting Awards Dinner will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, with a reception at 6 pm followed by the dinner and program at 7 pm at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis. Madison County Distinguished Citizen Awards Dinner- Fall 2017
Tom Snyder, past president of Ivy Tech Community College and last year's "Madison County Distinguished Citizen", chaired this past year's "Distinguished Citizen Dinner." The 2016 honorees will be Bill and Gloria Gaither. Each year, this award is presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to our community and who exemplifies Scouting values.

22nd Annual Governor's Luncheon for Scouting- December 18, 2017
In its 21 years, the Governor's Luncheon for Scouting has served as Crossroads of America Council's kickoff for its annual fundraising campaign, Friends of Scouting (FOS). The luncheon raises more than $1 million each year to help offset the costs of providing character development programs, camps, training and much more to the council's more than 32,000 Scouts and 8,000 adult volunteers.
