In keeping with the underlying message of the Scout Oath, the SCOUTStrong healthy living iniatitive focuses on keeping Scouts, families and volunteers physically strong and mentally awake throughout their lives.
5th Annual SCOUTStrong Wilderness Race- November 12, 2016
Join Crossroads of America Council for the 5th Annual SCOUTStrong Wilderness Race on November 12, 2016, at Camp Belzer (6102 Boy Scouts Road, Indianapolis). This year's event includes a 5K run/walk weaving through historic Camp Belzer and, NEW this year, a 1-mile family fun run/walk on a fully paved route. Post-race refreshments will be provided to all participants as well as a commemorative medal. Raffle prizes will be available for finishers.
Race proceeds directly support Crossroads of America Council's camp scholarship fund which provides financial assistance to Scouts attending camp.

SCOUTStrong PALA Challenge
The SCOUTStrong Presidential Active Lifestyle Award (PALA) Challenge will add activity to your life, and reward you when you do. To earn the SCOUTStrong PALA Challenge Award, participants are required to meet a daily activity goal of 30 minutes a day for adults and 60 minutes a day for youth under age 18 for at least five days a week, for six out of eight weeks.
SCOUTStrong Fitness Event Participation
Scouts and volunteers who participate in any non-Scout run/walk of 5K or greater will receive a free SCOUTStrong t-shirt by showing the event receipt at any council Scout Shop. We hope to see you wear the SCOUTStrong shirt during these events, displaying your Scouting pride. Thank you to the Indiana National Guard for
